Shadow Elves live with Drow, tending to live in the stalagtites of the Underdark. Carving monolithic stairways up to these dwellings, inside the stone and hiden from view. They do not believe in letting their cities be seen, and if they are descovered, or added to a major trade route, they have been known to kill the architects, burn the city and hide in the shadows, making a new stronghold. The prefer black mithril, black woods, and black stones.

Shadow elves do not care about wealth. They live in barracks, essentially, and are nearly all soldiers. The others are usually priests of Bast and Priests of Damien.

Shadow live in the Underdark, and when they cannot they live in cavern walls and deep mountain valleys. If made to live in a city above ground, they will normally live in cellar-like homes, underground, dark, and damp.

Sea elves do not like any race that do not have gils. However, they will associate with all races once. If they are wronged, they will usually hate that race until they die.

Shadow elves are apathetic, but tend to be evil, because they live with other evil peoples. It is not unknown for one to wander above ground and become good, simply because they live with goodly folk. The males and females are equal, and breed only during the most peaceful time of the year, usually winter.
